Alma Orellana, Bilingual Program Specialist

Alma Orellana works for the All Our Kids South Omaha Pilot Project as a Bilingual Specialist. Alma will be responsible for the following student groups:

 

 

• 6th grade “Clowns” @ Jackson Elementary
• 7th grade “Homies” at Norris Middle School

Alma says the best part about working at All Our Kids is the satisfaction of helping students see possibilities that they have in their present environment and strive for broader horizons.
After attending the University of Nebraska at Omaha Alma obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. While in school, Alma was a member of the Association for Latino American Students and Latinas Unidas.

These days Alma’s free time is limited but when she has a moment, she enjoys reading inspirational books, spending time with her family, going to the gym and running marathons and never misses an episode of 30 Minute Meals by Rachel Ray.
